Pendergast Elementary School District Transportation Supervisor

SUMMARY:   The Transportation Supervisor assists the Director of Transportation to ensure that department work goals are met; services are provided in an efficient and effective manner; ensures that staff utilizes appropriate procedures and safe practices; provides overall coverage of the transportation services; and ensures optimal utilization of personnel and other resources 


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in transportation operations
  • CDL certification
  • Experienced in supervisory responsibility and the ability to skillfully manage people
  • Knowledge of bus maintenance, driver training, and scheduling
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA degree in a supervisory or management related field of study OR
  • Five (5) years experience in operations of transportation services
