Show Low Unified School District is seek a Transportation Supervisor. Position Summary: The Transportation Supervisor assists the Director of Operations to ensure that department work goals are met, services are provided efficiently and effectively, ensures that staff utilizes appropriate procedures and safe practices, provides overall coverage of the transportation services, and ensures optimal utilization of personnel and other resources. Directs, supervises, and is responsible for the safe transportation of all students requiring transportation. This position involves the employment, in-service training, and supervision of all employees in the transportation department. It further requires administrative judgment and the overall responsibility for the maintenance, repair, and operation of all district vehicles. Implements the following: driver’s training, commercial driver’s license renewal, state inspections, and transportation safety; and Federal and State Transportation laws
